(PAST PROJECT) Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)

The first project supported through this fund was a partnership with the Ghassan Abu Sittah Children’s Fund (GASCF) to establish the first-ever Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) in southern Lebanon. GASCF is a non-profit dedicated to helping children affected by conflict by providing essential medical, psychological, and social services. In southern Lebanon, critically ill children must endure long journeys to Beirut for intensive care, often risking their lives due to delays. Through this collaboration, the new PICU brought life-saving care closer to home, drastically improving outcomes for vulnerable children and provided vital, life-saving resources to communities in need.
