INARA (International Network for Aid, Relief and Assistance) is a humanitarian organisation founded in 2015 in Beirut by journalist Arwa Damon, after her reporting brought her face to face with children affected by the Syrian conflict. INARA’s vision is a world where every child has the agency to create a dignified life, and its work centres on closing the gaps in medical and mental health care for children impacted by conflict and displacement.
INARA operates across Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, Egypt, Türkiye, and Afghanistan, combining medical treatment, in-house mental health services, family support, and a Rapid Response Programme that lets the organisation redirect funding quickly when a crisis escalates. With BB Energy Foundation’s support, INARA is currently delivering two emergency interventions: relief for displaced families sheltering in Lebanon, and a mobile medical clinic for children in Damascus, Syria.
Through these projects, INARA provides:
INARA’s work aligns closely with SDG 3 (Good Health & Well-Being), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice & Strong Institutions), extending healthcare, psychosocial support, and protection to children who would otherwise go without.
The BB Energy Foundation is proud to partner with INARA. Together, we are helping ensure that children caught in crisis — whether newly displaced in Lebanon or living through prolonged conflict in Syria — can access the medical care, essential relief, and emotional support they need to stay safe, healthy, and hopeful.
